Members current in their dues payments can choose to have their biography published on our website by completing the Member Biography Form.  Former members who need to update their dues should first complete payment below using PayPal.  

First-year members and graduate students enjoy free membership for 1 year and should complete the Graduate Student & First Year Member Application to have their information published.

Slovak Studies Association Dues Structure

Dues for membership in the Slovak Studies Association (SSA) currently vary, according to the structure listed below. Members receive one issue of the Slovak Studies Association Newsletter annually as well as occasional mailings regarding SSA administration. Members may also participate in the SSA’s annual meeting, which is held each year, in conjunction with the international convention of the Association for Slavic, East European, and Eurasian Studies (ASEEES), of which the SSA is an affiliate.

Graduate students and first-year members (no charge) 

• Please complete the Graduate Student & First Year Member Application Form

Junior faculty, retirees, and equivalents 

• 1 year: $10 
• 2 years: $15 ($7.50 per year)
• 5 years: $30 ($6 per year)

Senior faculty and equivalents 

• 1 year: $20
• 2 years: $30 ($15 per year)
• 5 years: $60 ($12 per year) 

Lifetime Membership: $200
