Wanted: substitute ASEEES panelist on Czech Republic international relations

November’s ASEEES Panel #11-31 -- "The Czech Republic and Its Partners: Instruments for Crafting Peace" -- has lost one of its three presenters and its discussant. That leaves us with Daniel Miller as chair and James Peterson and me as presenters. Jim is presenting on “The Czech Experience in NATO: The First Decade”; and I am presenting on “The Czechs as Peace Partners: A Small-State Perspective.”

We would welcome a paper addressing some aspect of Czech foreign policy relevant to security issues, or even a paper on some other aspect of Czech or central European international relations that could be tied, however loosely, to the panel’s main theme. Similarly, a discussant with an interest in foreign relations in central Europe or in European security affairs would be greatly appreciated.

The panel meets on Saturday, November 20, from 1:00 – 2:45.
